  •       Born in Paris in 1978, Alban grows up in Nice and starts playing guitar at age 17. After a few years practicing on his own and one year master class with Eric Sempe, the young guitar player starts playing with different bands and shows quickly an interest for Jazz music. He puts different musicians together to create various bands like "The Jazz band 007", "The Funktionnaires" and his seven piece band "Funkodocus" with whom he will record an EP of 4 compositions. 

  •        After being involved in a car accident in 2003 in Nice and recovering during one year he settles in St Marteen, a caribbean island well known for its night life entertainment, where he found the oportunity to perform on a regular basis.                                            

  •       He will be quickly recruited as a guitar player in various bands and starts teaching guitar in the most active music school of St Maarten. In 2007, he forms "Duet" a guitar duo with Reno, a Jazz guitar player from Paris. Together they record a CD of covers, "Alban and Reno" with their own arrangements. In 2008, Alban starts his solo career by playing in many venues on the island and  records his first solo album "Blue Swing".

  •      In 2009, he forms the Jazz Funk band "Pink House" with his younger brother Greg. Different musicians are part of this project over the years and the band records two CDs, "Pink House I" and "Pink House II" of famous funk covers. In 2010, he comes back to his Jazz roots forming "Papa Jazz Trio" with Paul Emmanuel, a graduated bassist from the Berklee College of Music. The band quickly spreads some serious Jazz Fusion all over the island. At the same time, he keeps performing solo with his Smooth Jazz Show and records his second solo album "Cubic Jazz" in 2013.

  •       In 2015, Alban still teaches guitar during the day and performs every year an average of 150 shows in St Martin, St Maarten, St Barths, Saba, Anguilla and Guadeloupe.

  •        Recently endorsed by Graph Tech Lab and Tech 21, Alban was contesting for the JTC solo guitar contest 2015 and is currently working on his 3rd Solo Album. More things are coming, stay tuned !!!
